CI HOUSE

CI House was a residence house that was designed with the contemporary architecture principle. The geometry of the building had taken the shape of a double triangle mass that was floating on the 2^nd and 3^rd floor. The façade of the building was dominated by the shape of triangle, the front mass was covered with metal cladding that formed a shadow on the front part of the building. the triangular mass on the 3^rd floor would look like a “peep hole” from the front forming a repetition of triangle geometry. On the first floor area, there was a wide garden by the side of the main corridor creating a dramatic experience when passers-by. The garden was also functioned as a natural sunlight and air circulation, distributed into the house.

The 2^nd floor was functioned as a private area that consisted of the master bedroom and children’s bedroom. There was also a small patio between the master bedroom and children’s bedroom that view straightly into the garden area below. The area was equipped with glass canopy and metal coating with unique pattern that formed shadows to add to the aesthetic.
